Before joining the Marketing PhD program at Emory I had degrees in Finance, Economics and Statistics and touched upon different aspects of the Business world. Eventually Marketing, a field that is keen on understanding relationships among consumers, products and firms really fascinated me and my yearn for answers led me to Emory's Ph.D. program where my research career started.


Games of all kinds have been an essential part of my life and the many memorable moments I had with games inspired me to study how dynamic incentive schemes in games should be designed to better engage customers and how unique features of games can be extended to non-game contexts to motivate customers, which is gamification.
